Början av boken var liiiite seg även om det hände en hel del. Jag kom inte in i boken på en gång som jag gärna vill göra och därför tog det lite tid att läsa. Väl i Idris så börjar den äntligen komma igång, man får träffa många nya och intressanta personer. Jag älskar sättet hur all miljö beskrivs, man får såna klara bilder i huvudet hur både platser och personer ser ut. Magnus Bane "hysterin" förstår jag mig på mer och mer, han är ju hur go som helst (till och från).

 

Hittils har varje bok innehållit en stor fight, den här var inte något undantag. Har inte riktigt bestämt mig för om jag gillar det eller inte, men vad skulle annars varje bok gå ut på? Så det är väll okej att det är så.

 

Jag är så glad att man fick reda på vad  Inquisitor'n faktiskt sa till Jace i förra boken, trodde nästan att det hade glömts bort (vilket jag hade gjort). Nu när jag tänker på det så fick man svaret på alla frågor från förra boken! Det trodde jag inte, men är glad över att vi faktiskt fick reda på det som behövdes få vetas.

 

Som så många andra tycker att det här hade kunna vart den sista boken i serien kan jag inte mer än hålla med dem. Jag undrar verkligen hur Cassandra Clare ska kunna gå vidare med serien och ändå få liv i den. Hittils så har jag läst de tre första böckerna direkt efter varandra, men nu blir det nog en liten paus från Shadowhunter världen. Men jag saknar den redan!

ÄNTLIGEN blev det bekräftat från Clarys mamma att hon och Jace inte alls är syskon, bara genom ängeln, alltså inte syskon! Jag vart så glad, äntligen, äntligen, äntligen! Men jag är rädd att spänningen mellan dem (och mig) kommer att försvinna nu när de faktiskt kan vara tillsammans. Innan så kände jag att det inte spelade någon som helst roll att de var syskon, de fick kyssas och mysas så mycket de ville. Nu känner jag att de kanske har fått varandra lite för lätt. Om ni hade frågat mig innan boken så hade jag sagt att det var precis vad jag ville skulle hända. Men nu är jag inte alls lika säker, såklart de ska vara tillsammans, jag är bara orolig att spänningen kommer försvinna med det.

Att Max dog gjorde inte mig så mycket, han hann aldrig bli en så stor och älskvärd karakär för mig. Det som gjorde det hela sorgligt var berättelsen om den lilla träsoldat han fått av Jace som han höll i när han dog.

Valentine dog (trodde inte det skulle ske så tidigt och smidigt) men frågan är om Sebastian gjorde det. Det är jag inte alls säker på eftersom hans kropp inte blev hittad.

Jag längtar efter att få läsa nästa bok, men den här kändes verkligen som ett avslut och jag känner inte alls att det är lika bråttom att läsa nästkommande böcker i serien. Även om jag klagat lite på vissa saker så får boken 5 av 5 det är den värd på grund av de saker som avslöjas!

Resten av böckerna i serien enligt mig håller inte samma kvalité :(
